| Love, Marriage, and Cruelty: Alan Rickman Explains Strindberg’s 'Creditors' Tuesday, May 04, 2010 By Sarah Montague : Senior Producer, Selected Shorts The packed house at BAM's Harvey Theater was probably eager to have a look at the protean actor whose dulcet malevolence has brought many nasty characters to life, including Professor Snape in the Harry Potter films, the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and terrorist Hans Gruber in Die Hard. Bon Mots On Creditors appeal: "I think the reason people are enjoying it so much is—they’re seeing their own marriages.” On Directors: “The directors you trust the most are the ones, when you ask them a question, they’ve got the guts to say, ‘I don’t know.’” On Directing: "I have three great racehorses on stage, and I’m sort of reining them in, and kicking them on, at the same time. It’s an impossible aim, really. But then so is acting." L'audio lo trovate QUI
